Is Truth Relative?

Truth is or is not relative. I wonder how many scholars throughout time have wrestled with this issue. This may be more of a modern discusion that can be overheard in many a coffee shop around the world.
I would like to hear your opinion.

My stand is known to many already. Truth stands alone and does not need support. It is NOT dependant on personal experience, ethnic background, or even tradition. Truth is a constant and is to be discovered by finite beings such as ourselves. THEN, what we do with Truth becomes consequential.
